This collection of settings specifies what you hear when you pick up a call for your extension. Use a single setting or combine two or all. Settings include:
Call Screening | Prompts the caller for their name (default), which is recorded and played on pick up of call. Use the default prompt or record a custom greeting. You can also use a feature flag to increase the recording time (2 to 5 seconds) allowed for a caller's message. Contact Us if you want to use this flag with Call Screening. |
Call Announce | Plays the user name or custom tag that is assigned to the extension or phone number dialed, which helps identify how to address/direct the caller. |
Screen Menu | Plays options that specify how to handle the call: Accept Call, Send to Voicemail, Transfer the Call by Number, or Transfer the Call by Name. |
Here's an example of all settings combined: You have a call for [Custom Tag] from [Caller Recording]. Press 1 to accept the call, press 2 to send the caller to voicemail, press 3 to transfer the call by number, press 4 to transfer the call by name.
