You can set a Manual Schedule Override on your Virtual Receptionist (VR) during holidays to use a different VR or forward to another extension. You can also play an out of office voicemail greeting. 

Only the Super User or Administrators can set a Manual Schedule Override.

Manual Schedule Override
  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Click Phone System and then click Virtual Receptionist.
  3. Hover over the VR you want to set and then click the Pencil icon.
  4. Go to Manual Schedule Override and mark the option for Enable Manual Schedule Override.
  5. Set Options:
     
    Manual Override EndsLets you specify a date and time the override ends.
    Play Different VR or Ring to an Extension

    Directs calls to another Extension, Virtual Receptionist, Call Group/Queue, or an outside number.

    Play the Following MessagePlays a recorded message and then disconnect the call.

    See Recording Greetings for instructions on how to record and upload.
  6. Click Save.
Out of Office Voicemail Greeting

In Voicemail System:

  1. Access your voicemail by dialling *99 or *100.
  2. Enter your Voicemail PIN when prompted followed by #.
  3. Press 4 to set voicemail options.
  4. Press 4 again to set an out of office greeting.
  5. Press 1 to record a new greeting or press 2 to remove the greeting if one is set.
  6. Press 1 to save, 2 to re-record, or press # to cancel.
  7. Press # and then # again to exit the Voicemail system.
NOTE: The out of office greeting is automatically enabled when you record and save a message.
 

In Online Account:

  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Click Phone System and then click Extensions.
  3. Hover over the extension you want to set and then click the Pencil icon.
  4. Click Voicemail.
  5. Go to Out of Office Greeting and mark the option to enable.
