You can set a Manual Schedule Override on your Virtual Receptionist (VR) during holidays to use a different VR or forward to another extension. You can also play an out of office voicemail greeting.
Only the Super User or Administrators can set a Manual Schedule Override.
Manual Schedule Override
- Sign in to the Admin Portal.
- Click Phone System and then click Virtual Receptionist.
- Hover over the VR you want to set and then click the Pencil icon.
- Go to Manual Schedule Override and mark the option for Enable Manual Schedule Override.
- Set Options:
Manual Override Ends | Lets you specify a date and time the override ends. |
Play Different VR or Ring to an Extension |
Directs calls to another Extension, Virtual Receptionist, Call Group/Queue, or an outside number.

Play the Following Message | Plays a recorded message and then disconnect the call. See Recording Greetings for instructions on how to record and upload. |
- Click Save.
Out of Office Voicemail Greeting
In Voicemail System:
- Access your voicemail by dialling *99 or *100.
- Enter your Voicemail PIN when prompted followed by #.
- Press 4 to set voicemail options.
- Press 4 again to set an out of office greeting.
- Press 1 to record a new greeting or press 2 to remove the greeting if one is set.
- Press 1 to save, 2 to re-record, or press # to cancel.
- Press # and then # again to exit the Voicemail system.
NOTE: The out of office greeting is automatically enabled when you record and save a message.
In Online Account:
- Sign in to the Admin Portal.
- Click Phone System and then click Extensions.
- Hover over the extension you want to set and then click the Pencil icon.
- Click Voicemail.
- Go to Out of Office Greeting and mark the option to enable.
