Can I use the Slash command (/vonage) to start a meeting?
Your organization can deploy multiple Slack apps delivered by Vonage. By Slack behavior, /vonage opens the latest app that was installed. To ensure you start Vonage Meetings, use /vbc meet

Why am I missing controls for the Vonage Meeting I started?
It is important to join as the Owner to use features such as meeting recordings. If you are prompted to enter your name (non-Owner), make sure you are signed in to the Desktop App that uses the same browser type launched by Slack, then re-launch.

Attendees can have the same experience, where they will join as Guest if they are not signed into the Desktop App in the same browser type launched by Slack.

Can I specify a time slot for a Vonage Meeting in Slack?
No. This functionality is designed to set up an unscheduled Vonage Meeting in a channel/direct message that has at least one other member of your organization. It lets you quickly collaborate with team members on topics that need immediate resolve.

How do I initiate a VBC audio call now?
We are refreshing the VBC audio call functionality but stay tuned for the return!
