Paging Groups

Updated: 4/19/2024 2:42 AM

The Paging Group feature allows a group of phones to be paged when you dial the group’s extension number.

Pick up your Vonage phone, dial the paging group extension number, and broadcast your message. All extensions assigned to the paging group will hear the message through their phone’s speaker; however, if a person in the group is on a call, the page will not be broadcast to that person's phone. The other members of the group will still receive the page.

  • $5.00 per month (excluding GST) for each Paging Group on the account

To use a paging group, pick up your Vonage phone, dial the paging group or extension number, and broadcast your message. All extensions assigned to the paging group will hear the message through their phone's speaker.

  • If a page is in-progress and a user in the group receives a call, there is a screen notification that a call is coming in; however, the phone will not ring. The user can choose to answer or not.
  • If a phone in the group is ringing and a page starts, the ringing will stop but the user will still see the call on their screen. They can still answer the call if they wish.
