Fix Connectivity Issues

Your Vonage service depends on the Internet so an interruption can affect your phone service. Once you confirm your Internet service has been restored, reboot your devices to resolve connectivity issues. 

To reboot your phone:

  1. Unplug the power cord for your device from the power source.
    If your phone uses Power over Ethernet (PoE), unplug the Ethernet cable.
  2. Wait approximately 10 seconds and then plug the device back into a power source. 
  3. Let the device reboot. Some devices recycle twice.
  4. Confirm you have a dial tone and make a test call.

Connectivity Issues Persist After Reboot

Make certain someone is available on site to assist with troubleshooting, then Contact Us. Be prepared to do the following:
 
  • Tell the technician when the issue began.
  • Inform the technician of any changes to your network equipment or Service Providers.
