Device Registration

Updated: 3/28/2025 1:29 AM

The functionality described here is being rolled out to accounts gradually over time. It is expected to be available to all customers by early April 2025.

You can view the auto-provisioning and registration of devices on your account to assist with isolating connectivity issues.

Only the Super User, Account Administrators, and User Administrators can view these details.

  1. Sign in to Admin Portal.
  2. Click Phone System, then Devices.
  3. Click Advanced Filters.
  4. Select all or specific locations.
  5. Under Show, mark Registration | Provisioning Status.
  6. (Optional) mark other options such as:

    1. Only show unassigned devices
    2. Softphones
    3. Desktop/Mobile
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Two additional columns will appear with the Provisioning and Registration status icons (defined below).
  9. The default view is All Statuses, but you can narrow down to a specific status using the dropdown menu that appears.

Devices generally register at least every 5 minutes and check for provisioning updates every 24 hours.
