Block Your Caller ID

You can block the view of Caller ID for outbound calls for all extensions account-wide or for select extensions. If you use this feature, calls from your phone number show as Unavailable, Unknown, or a similar value.

Only a Super User or Administrator can manage Caller ID settings account-wide or for select extensions. End Users can set for their own extension only.

NOTE: A blocked Caller ID can may prevent you dialing certain phone numbers as some companies set rules to reject these incoming calls. 


Apply by Super User/Administrator
Account-Wide
  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Click Account.
  3. Click PBX Settings, then go to Outbound Caller ID Number.
  4. Mark the option for Block all Outbound Caller ID.
  5. Click Save.
 Per Extension
  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Click Phone System, then click Extensions.
  3. Hover over the extension you want to manage and click the Pencil icon.
  4. Go to Outbound Caller ID in the Basic Settings section.
  5. Mark the option for Block Outbound Caller ID.
  6. Click Save
Set by End User
  1. Sign in to the Desktop App.
  2. Click the Avatar/initials (top left), then click Settings.
  3. Click Extension.
  4. Go to Outbound Caller ID and mark the option for Block Outbound Caller ID.
  5. Click Save.
