This article provides information about Polycom expansion modules/consoles (also referred to as "sidecars") compatible with supported Vonage Business hardware.

To configure speed dial keys on any Polycom Expansion Module, hold down one of the empty line keys. A dialogue will appear on the screen prompting for the fields to set up a new directory entry. Directory entries will populate on available line keys in order of the “Favorite Index” or “Speed Dial Index.” A lower index will be prioritized or populated first.

Once configured, line keys can be used as speed dial or quick button transfer keys. The Default Transfer Method is an Attended Transfer. To complete a quick Blind Transfer, press the Blind option after selecting Transfer.

1. Press and hold a line key to edit or add a directory entry.
2. Contact is the phone number or extension that will be dialled. The contact information is the only field that is required.
3. The Index (Favorites or Speed Dial) is not necessary but can be used to prioritize certain contacts at the top of the list.
4. Save the contact, and the entry populates on the next available line key.
